The Chelmsford Calling World Service is a light entertainment programme produced by Jim Salmon - 'Sunny Jim' from the Chelmsford Calling Network - set up with the aim of promoting radio technology past, present and future.
CCWS is based in the heart of Chelmsford, Essex in the UK - home of Guglielmo Marconi's first wireless factory and the 'birthplace of radio'! Their programme consists of 10 to 15 minute features, including Media Magazine / The Wireless Years / The Elettra Report / Sunny Jim's Trance Journey / Listening Post. Great stuff! Truly interesting and enlightening! I heartily recommend listeners tune in, especially if one enjoys the hobby of radio listening.
Reception reports are appreciated, and Jim Salmon will reply first with an eQSL. Much to my surprise, and delight, he posted from the UK and signed the above paper QSL, verifying reception of CCWS via WRMI. Thank you very much, Jim!
