Voice Of The Report Of The Week via
Kostinbrod (Bulgaria) was heard from 16.15 till 17.00 UTC, 27 August 2017, on the short-wave
frequency of 9.400 kHz. A selection of music requests from listeners
around the world with DJ commentary was observed under good conditions,
although transmission was intended for Europe. SINPO rated a 45444 -
strong signal, clear audio content with slight fade. Reception dropped
off a tad in the last 15-20 minutes of the show. HERE's an audio excerpt from the broadcast.
Reception report was emailed on the following day. John, the DJ/Producer at VORW Radio, replied with a pleasant email and eQSL card. The design on the QSL is a painting submitted by a listener, depicting him in his job as a food critic and video maker.
