BBS headquarters
BHUTAN
Bhutan Broadcasting Service
out of Thimphul was observed during a English broadcast  from 11.00 till 12.00 UTC. News in English, followed by Western pop songs made up much of this hour-long broadcast. Reception on the short-wave frequency of 6.035 kHz was (SINPO) 23422 -- weak to fair signal when not mixing with Voice of Shangri-La (China). A dominant transmitter hum drowned out much of their audio when signal faded under. Signal improved slighly only after 11.50 UTC. HERE's BBS as heard in Malaysia.

HONG KONG
Propagation for Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK-3) proved to be remarkably good on the night of 5 July 2017, from 19.00 till 20.00 UTC (03.00 till 04.00 AM, Hongkong Time). For over a month this station has been observed, albeit never with the quality heard on this particular occasion. Reception on 567 kHz rated a SINPO of 34433 -- clear and strong signal, no QRM from co-frequency stations (as noted previously from around 17.40 till 18.45 UTC), occasional  static bursts and slight fade throughout much of the transmission from 19.00 till 20.00 UTC. Best reception occurred during the first half hour. HERE's a snippet from their "Night Music" programme.

INDIA
All India Radio Imphal (Akashvani Imphal)
in Manipur was noted at 17.00 with Indian music on the medium-wave frequency of 882 kHz. Reception was SINPO 33323 -- fair to good signal despite fading and occasional mixing with DWIZ in teh Philippines

All India Radio Siliguri (Akashvani Siliguri) in West Bengal was heard broadcasting classical Indian music followed by news in English and Hindi was observed from 17.05 till 17.44 UTC. Reception on the medium-wave frequency of 711 kHz was (SINPO) 34323 -- poor to fair signal strength when not fading under atmospheric noise or mixing with a Thai station, every two to four minutes. HERE's a excerpt from the AIR Siliguri transmission.

PHILIPPINES
DWIZ / Aliw Broadcasting Corporation
in Obando Bulacan Province (Manila area) was logged at 16.15 UTC. Station IDs in Talagog and English were heard clearly, earning a SINPO of 33433 on the medium-wave frequency of 882 kHz. While AIR Imphal and fading were noticeable, this was less a problem with direction of antenna was rotated towards the Philippines.
