Radio Bluebird*, a medium-wave pirate station, was logged on 6 August 2014. German language songs, including "Kommt Der Fruhling", yodelling and polka tunes were heard from 22.37 to 22.50 UTC. Transmission ceased at 22.50 UTC after station ID and closing comments from DJ. Reception on 1638 kHz was (SINPO) 34423 -- fair signal, clear audio and long fades while using a remote SDR receiver in the Netherlands.
Reception report was emailed to Radio Bluebird the following day.
