China Tibet Broadcasting (via Lhasa)
China Tibet Broadcasting
transmitting from Lhasa, Tibet (Xizang) was logged on 22 April 2019.
English programming of news and cultural information on Tibet was heard
from 16.20 till 16.50 UTC (broadcast time 16.00 till 17.00 UTC).
Reception (SINPO) on 4.905 kHz rated 34343; (SINPO) on 4.920 kHz rated
43443. HERE is China Tibet Broadcasting.
Reception report was emailed on the following day. An email was received in late May promising a QSL in a month or two. A QSL card, along with a postcard of the Lhasa monastery and decorative envelope, arrived in the mail on the following month, 21 June 2019. Not bad considering years ago a QSL card to Malaysia never arrived after numerous attempts. So, I had it posted to an address in the United States and the card arrived at that address.

in Odisha Orissa (India) was heard on 12 February 2019. Indian music, advertisements and
national news was observed from 17.00 till 17.42 UTC. Reception on the
medium-wave frequency of 1467 kHz, here in the Kuala Lumpur area, rated
a SINPO of 34433 -- signal strength was fair to good depending on

WBCQ - The Planet (via Monticello)
WBCQ - The Planet, transmitting from Monticello, Maine (USA), was logged on 18 June 2019. Talk Show with dialogue/interview and occasional filler music was monitored from 09.30 till 10.00 UTC. Reception on 9.330 kHz rated an SINPO of 15321 -- weak signal, audible content occasionally clear and some fading under atmospheric noise. For over a week, reception has been "best" around 09.30 up till slightly after 10.00 UTC. I assume this is due to grey-line phenomenon which allows WBCQ's signal to radiate through the southern hemisphere to reach Malaysia. HERE and HERE is WBCQ (Monticello).
Reception report was emailed to Allan Weiner on the same day. He repliend within a few hours with an eQSL. To obtain the actual QSL card, which I did in 2012, one needs to mail the reception report with SASE. This was done a day later on 19 June 2019.
