Radio Taiwan International, transmitting from Tamsui, broadcast a special programme on 22 January 2026, from 08.00 till 09.00 UTC. It featured students from Yilan Senior High School and the municipality of Vardø in northeastern Norway who talked about their country, school life and interests. Reception on the shortwave frequency of 15.150 kHz rated a SINPO of 25322 -- weak transmission, slight fading and moderate noise. Despite this occasion audio content was observed. Transmission improved gradually after 08.30 UTC. Signal was strongest after 08.45 UTC. HERE is an excerpt from this broadcast.
