Adventist World Radio via SENTEC (Meyerton)

Adventist World Radio, transmitting from the SENTEC facility in Meyerton, South Africa, was logged on 4 November 2014. A Maasai language broadcast of evangelical sermons and music was noted from 17.30 to 18.00 UTC. Reception on 15.490 kHz was (SINPO) 35453 -- fair signal strength, slight atmospheric noise, clear and audible.

Reception report of this transmission was emailed to both AWR and SENTEC. Of late, AWR has either been slow to QSL or failed to reply. I expect as much this time. Still, it is interesting to receive AWR from Meyerton, and SENTEC's Letter of Verification would certainly be more desirable. SENTEC indeed replied with their QSL on 27 March 2015; AWR verified on 2 April 2015.
