Deutsche Welle - Bonn, Germany (relay station in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka) was logged on 8 January 2010.

The omnipresent Deutsche Welle sent this QSL card along with a DVD commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the Berlin Wall's demise.

Radio Sweden

Radio Sweden in Stockholm, Sweden was logged 8 September 2007.

Radio Sweden discontinued its English language broadcasts on medium and short wave on 31 October 2010. Months before these services ended I submitted two reception reports, only to receive a note each time from Radio Sweden announcing the closure of their short-wave service. Radio Sweden can still be heard on the internet and iPod/iPhone application.

Before this decision, Radio Sweden regularly would mail out QSL cards like the one shown here.

Radio Oesterreich (ORF1) in Vienna, Austria was logged on 12 September on 17.775 kHz.

Radio France International

Radio France International in Paris, France was logged on 14 0ctober 2010 at 12.00-12.30 UTC on 21.620 kHz and 17.850 kHz.

Signal (SINPO) on 21.620 Khz was 15121 -- a very weak signal marred by QRM and slight fading. Speech was indiscernible. French language programming on 17.850 kHz signal was 25422. Programmes  were audible and clear.

Radio France International was contacted by mail and email. QSL card is pending.
