Radio Thailand World Service (HSK9), transmitting from Udon Thani (Thailand), was logged on 5 June 2016, from 12.30 to 13.00 UTC. Their English language broadcast consisted of national and in-depth news, several advertisements promoting Radio Thailand, Thai / Vietnamese restaurants and hotels. At 13.00 UTC, their interval signal (clock chimes), followed by Japanese language broadcast was noted. Reception on 9.390 kHz was (SINPO) 55545 -- good signal strength and audio clarity with slight fading. No surprise here, considering my listening post is in neighbouring Malaysia!
