WYFR - Family Radio (via Bao-Zhong)

WYFR - Family Radio, transmitting from  Bao-Zhong, Taiwan was logged on 9 June  2012. A Chinese language broadcast of Biblical passages, sermons and religious music was observed from  22.35 to 23.15 UTC (broadcast time 22.00 to 00.00 UTC) on 6.215 kHz. Reception (SINPO) at 22.35 UTC was 24342 -- weak signal strength, minor interference from unidentified radio operators -- possibly utility or maritime operators from Indonesia -- and slight atmospheric noise, otherwise clear speech was heard. By 23.00 UTC signal began to fade and atmospheric noise enveloped broadcast. Reception was degraded to 24221 after 23.15 -- signal was weak and enveloped in atmospheric noise, although still audible and clear speech at times. Eventually signal disappeared.

Reception report was emailed to Family Radio. This QSL card and promotional material (brochures, book markers and pocket calendars) arrived in the mail on 10 July 2012.
