Lao National Radio in Vientiane, Democratic Republic of Laos was logged on 7 June 2012. An English language broadcast of Laotian and world news was heard from 14.00 to 14.30 UTC. Before 14.00 UTC a programme of Laotian pop music was observed. Transmission was on the medium-wave frequency of 567 kHz. Reception (SINPO): 34433 -- fair signal strength, minor interference and minor fading occurred approximately 7 to 10 minutes.
Reception report was submitted to LNR the following day. On 10 July 2012, I received this email: "Thanks for your e-mail report to our station. I will soon send you the QSL card. Please be awaiting for some times. Regards, Inpanh Satchaphansy, Director, Foreign Language Department, Head. External relations. Lao National Radio." This QSL card was received on 1 August 2012.
