Voice of Turkiye, transmitting from Emirler, was received on the shortwave frequency of 11.660 kHz, on 12 July 2026. The SINPO was 45544 -- strong signal, no interference, clear audio content. A English language broadcast with extended commentary on Gaza and Turkish music was monitored from from 16.50 till 17.24 UTC, here in the Kuala Lumpur area.
Pictured: Located in the Gökırmak Valley, Boyabat Castle is built on one of two steep rocky hills facing each other, taking advantage of the natural rock formations. Access to the castle is provided through a small gate situated next to the large round tower in the southeast corner.
Reception report was sent shortly after the transmission ended. QSL card arrived on 10 August 2026.
