Trans World Radio Africa (via Al-Dhabbiya)

Trans World Radio Africa, transmitting from Al-Dhabbiya,  UAE,  was received on 29 September 2019. An Amharic broadcast of "Kingdom of Eswatini" was monitored  from 03.35 till 03.45 UTC. Reception on 9.655 kHz rated a SINPO of 24332 -- weak signal, occasionally clear and audible when not fading under atmospheric noise. HERE is TWR  (Al-Dhabbiya)

Reception report was emailed on the same day. An eQSL was received on 3 October 2019.

  1. How do eQSLs work with shortwave listening? I know there are websites that allow eQSLs for ham stations, but those are done by exchanging calls, which many SWLs don't have. Is it just an image attachment in the email?

  2. It's usually a pdf/jpeg file of an image with reception report data.
