China Radio International (via Xian)

China Radio International (Zhōngguó Guójì Guǎngbō Diàntái), transmitting from  Xian,  Shaanxi Province, was heard on 12 August 2017. An English broadcast of news, programmes on English idioms and "Horizons" was observed from 04.10  till 05.05 UTC (broadcast time 04.00 till 06.00 UTC). Reception on  the short-wave frequency of  17.730 kHz (SINPO): 33232 -- poor to fair signal depending on the duration of fading, atmospheric noise and station splatter from adjacent frequency (17.740 kHz). Otherwise, signal was audible and occasionally heard with clear content.

Reception report was emailed the previous day. QSL card arrived in the mail on 8 September 2017.
