Voice of Turkey

Voice of Turkey from Emirler was heard on 2 April 2016, from 20.30 till 21.16 UTC. An English language broadcast of Turkish, regional and world news, including a report that flights of a Turkish airline would resume into Northern Cyprus, was noted at the start. This was followed by "Turkey's New Region", "Letterbox" and "Question of Month". A few Turkish pop tunes rounded out the broadcast, just before transmission concluded. Reception on 9.620 kHz was (SINPO) 55545 - strong and clear transmission, despite slight and occasional fading.
