Free Radio* Log for 9 June 2015

Radio Shortwave Gold* was monitored from 20.00 till 20.20 UTC. Reception on 6.205 kHz was (SINPO) 33443 -- fair signal, occasional utility QRM and slight fading, but clear and audible signal. Canned station IDs "Shortwave Gold" was heard between pop music, including Andy Gibb - "I Want To Be Your Everything" and "Hot Stuff". Reception report was emailed on the same day. The following day, SG replied, saying: "Thanks for the report. Always on the air all night on 6210, soon."

Radio Blackbeard* in the UK was logged from 19.45 till 20.00 UTC. Reception on 6.315 kHz was (SINPO) 34433 -- fair signal, slight atmospheric noise and fading, but clear and audible. Frequent station IDs beteen dance/techno music, including "Feel, Feel", was noted. Reception report was emailed on the same day. Reception report was emailed on the same day.

Radio Dutchwing* in the Netherlands was logged at 19.00 till 19.26 UTC. Reception on 6.424 kHz was (SINPO) 34433 -- fair signal, slight atmospheric noise and fading, but clear and audible speech. Dutch and English station IDs between  pop songs, including The Who - "Baba O'Riley", Johnny Horton - "North to Alaska" and Creedence Clearwater Revival - "Ramble Ramble" until sign-off was observed. Reception report was emailed on the same day.

Radio 42* was logged at 19.00 till 20.00 UTC. Reception on 6.400 kHz was (SINPO) 24321 -- poor to weak signal, atmospheric noise and fading, but audible signal. Uninterrrupted contemporary pop was observed.
