Finally, after a week or so without any verification, a QSL card from Radio DARC (Deutsche Amateur-Radio-Club)* arrived in the mail, today. Although it was monitored from a remote SDR receiver in the Netherlands it is certainly nice to have their confirmation. I rather enjoy their programming of DX news in German and music, and I wish them much success in their endeavour. It is heartening to see radio enthusiasts take charge and promote their hobby, especially at a time when it appears traditional radio communication is on the wane.
Now, hopefully, with the recent birth of my first grandson aside, I can resume this wonderful hobby. But then, he is more interesting at the moment. Happy DXing and 73s to all!!!
*Logged using remote SDR receiver at the University of Twente (The Netherlands)
