Radio Gloria International

Radio Gloria International*, transmitting from Germany, was logged on 14 September 2014. Oldies and rarities pop music, including Gerry & the Pacemakers - "You´ll Never Walk Alone", Light Fantastic - "Gone Are the Days", Dianne Warwick - "Walk On By", and WAR - "Love is a Ghetto", was heard between DJ comments, station IDs and contact details in German (sometimes in English) from 04.20 to 05.00 CET (06.20 to 07.00 UTC). Reception on 6.190 kHz was (SINPO) 35443 -- fair signal strength, clear audio, despite some fading and atmospheric noise.

Reception report was posted on 15 September 2014. Later, on the same day, Andy at RGI replied with eSticker and blank eQSL, stating: "Thank you very much for the report. You used the possibility over Twente - good idea. I hope you can print / fill the QSL-form. We are on the air every 4th Sunday of the month." Hopefully with US$2 and/or 2 IRCs enclosed in a posted reception report, a paper QSL will be forthcoming too. A paper QSL with signature of veri-signer  Andy arrived in the mail on 7 November 2014.
