Voice of Russia (Yerevan-Gavar, Armenia)

Voice of Russia, transmitting from Yerevan-Gavar, Armenia, was heard on 29 October 2011. A French language service was monitored from 18.00 to 19.00 UTC on 9.900 kHz. Signal (SINPO) was 35333 -- fair signal strength with noticeable static and slight fading, otherwise clear and audible speech.

Reception report was emailed to VOR. QSL card arrived in the mail on 16 November 2011.

    I received this email with 24 hours from VOR's Elena Osipova,Letters Department,World Service:

    "Thank you for your reception report received today. It was nice to hear from you again.

    Your reception report has been forwarded to the VOR French Department, I hope they will soon send you a verification card.

    Wishing you good and enjoyable listening and looking forward to hearing from you soon again."
