Radio Australia in Melbourne, Australia was monitored on 1 September 2010 at 9.00-11.00 UTC on 9.710 kHz. A Pisin English programme, hosted by Peter Jonas, was heard.
This broadcast was transmitted from their 60 year old Shepparton facility. Signal (SINPO) at 09.00 UTC was 15442 -- weak but with audible and discernible speech; at 10.00 UTC signal was 35443.
Radio Australia initially responded by email indicating a QSL would be sent for this reception report. After much delay and subsequent reminders to ABC, it arrived along with a programme schedule on 4 April 2011, curiously in an envelop postmarked from Changi Airfreight Centre, Singapore.
