The Voice of Turkiye

The Voice of Turkiye, transmitting from Emirler, was received on the short-wave on 18 October  2022, from 16.30 till 17.24 UTC. News about developments in the Russo-Ukrainian war, "Review of Turkish Press" highlighted increase in tourism to Turkiye,  exports in Turkiye and vaccine development, "Weekly Commentary"focused on future cyber alliances and Turkish pop music was observed during this nearly hour-long broadcast in English. Reception on the shortwave frequency of 11.660 kHz rated a SINPO of 55344 -- strong signal and clear audio content, despite atmospheric noise and slight fading.

Reception report was emailed on the following day. QSL card arrived in the mail on 21 November 2022.

Radio Taiwan International National Day Broadcast 2022

 

Radio Taiwan International, transmitting presumably from Paochung, was logged on 10 October 2022.  Despite the data incorrectly stated on this card, the transmission was for their National Day Broadcast, hosted by Emma Benack and Anita, which was received from 02.00 till 03.00 UTC. Transmission was on 15.530 kHz and rated a SINPO of 55555 -- excellent. HERE is an excerpt from that transmission:

Radio Romania International

Radio Romania International, transmitting from Galbeni, was logged on  16 September 2022. A Spanish language broadcast was monitored from 23.30 till 23.57 UTC. Reception on 9.760 kHz rated a SINPO of 45333 -- fair signal and clear content despite slight fading, initial station splatter, and moderate atmospheric, more likely household electrical, interference. Radio Romania International, transmitting from Galbeni, was logged on  27 May 2022. A French language broadcast was monitored from 20.14 till 20.26 UTC (broadcast time 20.00 till 20.26 UTC). Reception on 9.595 kHz rated a SINPO of 35343 -- fair signal and clear content despite moderate atmospheric noise.

Radio Romania International, transmitting from Galbeni, was logged on 5 March 2022. A Romanian broadcast was monitored from 17.00 till 17.30 UTC. Reception on 7.370 kHz rated a SINPO of 45343 -- fair signal, clear content despite  moderate atmospheric noise. HERE is RRI.
