pop song observed from 12.30 till 12.55 UTC. Reception on 9.840 kHz
was (SINPO) 54554 -- Strong signal and clear audio despite squealing
transmitter noise.

IBB for Voice of America (via Udon Thani)
IBB for Voice of America, transmitting from Udon Thani (Thailand), was received on the short-wave frequency of 12.030 kHz with a SINPO of 55544 -- strong signal, clear audio despite minor fading Learning English and The Making of a Nation episodes on WWI were monitored on 12 and 13 July 2018, from 11.43 until 12.00 UTC (broadcast time 11.30 till 12.00 UTC). HERE's the Voice of America via Udon Thani.
Reception report was emaile to both VOA and IBB station manager in Thailand on the following day. QSL card from IBB Udon Thani arrived in the mail on 25 July 2018.

All India Radio Bhawanipatna (Akashvani Bhawanipatna)
via Belamal, Odisha logged on 8 June 2018. Indian classical music and
national news in English noted from 17.00 till 17.36 UTC. Receotion on
1206 kHz (MW) rated a (SINPO) of 24322 -- weak signal, occasionally
clear and audible content when not fading every few minutes under
atmospheric noise. HERE's AIR Bhawanipatna.
Reception report was emailed, submitted online and posted to Spectrum Management & Synergy. They acknowledged report the following day. QSL card arrived in the mail on 18 July 2018.
FEBC - Radio Liangyou (via Bocaue)
FEBC - Radio Liangyou,
transmitting from Bocaue, Philippines was heard on the shortwave frequencies of
9.275 kHz and 9.465 kHz kHz. A Mandarin language broadcast was observed
from 13.30 till 14.00 UTC, on 3 July 2018. SINPO on 9.275 kHz was
35322 -- fair signal strength at sign-on, but occasional fading under
atmospheric noise degraded reception quality. SINPO on 9.465 kHz was
45444 -- good signal strength, no interference, strong and clear audio

Reception report was emailed on the following day. QSL card and cover letter from FEBC HQ in Hong Kong arrived in the letterbox on 18 July 2018.

Logbook from Late June till Mid July 2018
AUSTRIA
PHILIPPINES
Special Broadcast of WRTC carried by DARC, transmitting from Moosbrunn, was received on the short-wave frequency of 13.860 kHz, here in the Kuala Lumpur area, from 11.15 till 11.45 UTC (broadcast time 11.00 till 12.00 UTC), on 14 July 2018. While this transmission was intended for Europe and North America, bits and pieces of it radiated beyond its targeted areas. Reception at 11.00 UTC signal was not received. Only between 11.15 till 11.40 UTC was signal detected and observed with a SINPO little better than 14211 -- very weak signal, occasional bursts of coherent audio when not fading under severe atmospheric noise. By 11.40 UTC, signal worsened and was barely noticeable under the noise.
PHILIPPINES
FEBC - Radio Liangyou, transmitting from Bocaue, was heard on the shortwave frequencies of 9.275 kHz and 9.465 kHz kHz. A Mandarin language broadcast was observed from 13.30 till 14.00 UTC, on 3 July 2018. SINPO on 9.275 kHz was 35322 -- fair signal strength at sign-on, but occasional fading under atmospheric noise degraded reception quality. SINPO on 9.465 kHz was 45444 -- good signal strength, no interference, strong and clear audio throughout transmission. HERE's FEBC - Radio Liangyou on 9.275 kHz.
SOUTH KOREA
KBS World Radio (test transmission from UAE) was logged on 21 June 2018. Arabic programming was monitored from 20.20 till 20.50 UTC (broadcast time 20.00 till 21.00 UTC). Reception on 6.145 kHz rated a SINPO of 24322 -- weak, audible signal and occassionally clear when not fading under atmospheric noise. HERE's KBS World Radio (Dhabbaya)

Reception on 9.840 kHz rated a SINPO of 54544 -- strong signal and clear audio despite squealing transmitter noise and minor fading. logged on 11 June 2018. Turkish programming of Quran recitation and
nasheeds (religious songs) was monitored from 00.40 till 02.00 UTC.
Reception on 9.735 kHz was initially at 00.40 UTC rated a (SINPO) of
34443 -- fair signal strength, clear audio content with minimal
atmospheric noise and interference. Around 01.20 UTC, conditions changed
and reception deteriorated to a SINPO of 23322 -- still audible content
with some occasional station splatter from Thazin Radio (a Myanmar
station) after 01.30 UTC. HERE's an excerpt from the broadcast.

Reception report was submitted online to RNZ on the following day. The above eQSL arrived on 2 July 2018.

KBS World Radio, transmitting from Kimjae (Republic of Korea), was logged on 16 May 2018. English programmes "Alien in Seoul" and K-Pop songs were observed from 09.15 till 09.45 UTC. Reception on 9.770 kHz rated a SINPO of 44544 - fair to good signal with fading, but clear and audible signal. HERE's an excerpt from this broadcast.
