Voice of Broad Masses  of Eritrea in Asmara-Selae Daro, Eritrea was logged on 9 November 2010 at 18:30-20:00 UTC on 7.175 kHz. 


Signal (SINPO) was 23232 - very weak; speech was undiscernible, although music was audible and clear. Static and fading made it more difficult to hear.


News, commentary and music format was heard during this Arabic language service.

Reception report submitted by mail and email. QSL is pending.

English language programming included news and information, events and topics relating to Spain. 

Reception reports have been sent on three occasions, both by mail and email. According to WRTH 2011, Radio Exterior de Espana NO LONGER ISSUES a QSL card.

Adventist World Radio (KSDA) in Agat, Guam was logged on 23 August 2010 at 16.00-16.30 UTC on 11.805 kHz @100 kw transmitter.

Signal (SINPO) was 53544 - strong signal despite interference from a nearby station; most interference was eliminated when radio was switched to narrow filter mode.



QSL card was confirmed by email and received on 27 December 2010.

Signal (SINPO) was 55445 - a relatively strong signal throughout the broadcast, marred by slight fading and some static.

Radio Myanmar in Yangon, Myanmar was logged on 31 October 2010 at 02.00-03.00 UTC on 7.200 kHz in Burmese.


Signal (SINPO) was 14111 - extremely weak and speech indiscernible due largely to severe static and fading.


A letter of verification was emailed on 21 November 2010, stating that a 'new' QSL card would be issued.

Signal (SINPO) was 55445 - Strong signal with slight fading and some transmitter hum.


QSL card was received, along with a calendar and tourist brochure on Iran, on 3 January 2011.

British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in London, United Kingdom was logged on 24 October 2010 at 17.00-19.00 UTC on 13.675 kHz


Signal (SINPO) was 55555 -- excellent reception throughout much of the broadcast. Around 18.45 UTC signal was weaker and marred by slight fading and static --  35343. BBC is heard nearly 24-hours here in Malaysia.


QSL card is pending. Sceptical BBC will issue, considering their website mentions QSLs are no longer issued. WRTH 2011 also verifies this fact.

Signal (SINPO) was 45434 - signal was audible and speech discernible despite slight fading and some transmitter hum.

QSL card receiverd on 9 February 2011. It arrived with a programme schedule, 2011 calendar and post cards of photos taken by VOA photojournalists and staff.

Voice of Indonesia in Jakarta, Indonesia was logged on 15 October 2010 at 13.00-14.00 UTC on 9.525 kHz. Signal (SINPO) from 13.00-13.25 UTC signal was 55555 - very strong and clear. From 13.25-14.00 signal was 44555 - strong interference from Family Radio.
Reception reports have been submitted twice, both by mail and email. QSL is pending. Two QSL cards arrived on 9 November 2011, each one for different broadcast times monitored.
